Dan Piscitelli - Vice President of Information Services and Technology
Dan is currently the director of IT for the Carolinas Golf Group. In this position, Dan directs all IT services for the company and handles all new installations and daily IT operations. Dan's background with IT management originated with IBM. Having joined IBM in New York as an associate engineer in product development, he focused on quality engineering and data management. In 1984, Dan was assigned the position of Engineering Data Systems manager. In 1985, Dan assumed the role of Site CIM (computer integrated manufacturing) Manager at IBM's Manassas, Va. location . In 1992, he joined the team responsible for establishing IBM's PC HelpCenter in Atlanta, Ga. In 1993, Dan had the role of Technical Services Manager within IBM's PC HelpCenter. In 1999, Dan joined Tech Data Corporation as the Director of Distribution and Logistics at TD's Raleigh distribution and configuration center. In 2002, Midlantic Computer Services was established to provide specialized computer related services to small to medium businesses. Dan has been involved in the golf industry for the past 10 years where he has served as an IT professional , assistant general manager, software trainer, POS system installer and operations advisor. As president of MCS, Dan oversees the IT operations for golf clubs that range from daily fee courses to private country clubs and are geographically located within the southeast and eastern Texas.
